David Perez, the visionary CEO and Founder of Lumati, began his extraordinary journey when he was born on August 30th, 1963, in Casablanca, Morocco. His ancestors were resilient survivors of the Spanish Inquisition, and as a young boy, he later settled in Philadelphia, where David's entrepreneurial spirit was evident from a young age. By the age of 10, he was already selling seeds door-to-door and expanding his business by offering leaf raking and snow shoveling services. His initiative led him to hire classmates, laying the foundation for his early ventures despite the challenges of being on welfare.

At the age of 10 David built a small enterprise hiring five classmates to help him rake lawns, shovel snow and sell seeds in order to support his family. By age 12, David worked as a stock boy in a Philadelphia camera and electronics store, where his sales acumen quickly earned him recognition. At just 15, he was entrusted with managing an electronics store in Philadelphia and had already built a formidable reputation as one of the city's top electronics salespeople. Balancing school and work, he leveraged his keen business sense to sell car stereos, install CATV and Satellite networks and accumulating significant savings by the time he was a sophomore in high school.

David's teenage entrepreneurial flair extended beyond electronics as he took leased space in a video rental store, where his innovative marketing ideas helped the owners quadruple sales. His expertise in electronics earned him the trust of prominent wealthy clients, who relied on David's skill in setting up complex home entertainment, CCTV and telephone systems. Word of his expertise quickly spread, leading to a network of high-profile clients seeking his services.

In 1986 David and his sisters Linda and Deborah were one of the top Sony of America Dealers in the USA. Later, they rapidly rose to be one of the top Cellular Phone dealers and resellers in NJ, PA, and CA, pioneering a one low-cost $99 lease payment for a car phone, airtime and installation.

After all this early success, his life suddenly turned upside down when David was 23. He was in a terrible car accident that tragically claimed the life of his girlfriend, who had aspirations of becoming a medical doctor. He was convicted of reckless driving, serving a one year jail sentence followed by five years of community service. Her memory fuels David's passion for helping others, inspiring him to establish Lumati to make a positive impact on millions of lives. Despite humble beginnings and facing numerous challenges along the way, David's relentless drive, keen business acumen, and unwavering commitment to excellence continues to pave the way for his remarkable success.
